There's no change at the top of the Christian Hotdisc Top 20 with Scottish/English duo Scott Perry and Tony May holding on to their position at the summit with "Invisible Lines" under the name Perry/May. But there's plenty of action inside the Top 20 this week with two new entries and some healthy climbers with Karen Lafferty up two more places to rest at number 2 with her re-working of the hymn "Let God Be Praised." She moves above last week's highest new entry by Stu Stevens which holds at 3. Dave Sheriff is a non mover at number 5 with his song "Let's Give Thanks" while Janis Blackburn's latest single release, the poignant and touching "Mama's Song," is up to 8 with Paul Overstreet getting the highest climber accolade with a five place push at 9. The two new entries are at 16 and 17 with Tanya Cristina debuting the highest and the re-issued classic from the Glasgow Orpheus Choir one place below Tanya's song. The chart is put together by DJs and media people who rate the songs from current Christian Hotdisc CDs. The chart is therefore compiled on merit from industry professionals.
